My Interest in Paid Media
My passion for digital paid media stems from my love of data analysis. Having a background in biology gave me a foundation in statistics, critical thinking and data analytics that I could translate into paid media. From there, I have grown across paid social by setting up, launching, and optimizing Meta Ads, primarily.

To be successful in paid media, I first needed a foundation in digital marketing. To begin with, understanding the STP framework and the steps involved in writing a digital marketing plan are key concepts that any paid media specialist must know. Setting up a successful paid media campaign starts with selecting the right advertising objective aligned with your business goals. It also requires identifying the target segment you want to reach with your ads.
In addition, designing the right creative comes from fully understanding the needs, wants, and pain points of your audience. Finally, optimization is the most important action once a campaign is launched. Knowing digital analytics and KPIs is fundamental to selecting the right metrics to optimize your campaign to drive the highest ROI possible.
My Future Career Goals
With a strong foundation in digital marketing and more than three years of experience in paid social media, I am ready to venture into the broader world of digital media. This means seeking opportunities in other paid media channels such as Search and Programmatic, which includes Display and Video, native advertising, Digital Out of Home, Connected TV, and more.
